The Fraser Center is pleased to provide a variety of support groups, psycho-educational groups, and services. While we currently have the following groups listed below, we are always open to providing new and different groups that meet the needs of the community. - Domestic Violence
- A 15 week program that runs 90 minutes per session focusing on domestic violence. Separate groups are available for men and women. Domestic Violence is addressed by teaching Core Value skills to regulate emotions and behavior, according to the participants best interests and those of his loved ones. Blame makes us powerless. Responsibility gives us the power to make our life better. Participants will learn and practice the HEALS technique that will enhance their sense of self. They will learn to replace the powerlessness of blame with the power of responsibility.
- Grief Group
- A support group designed to give participants a safe place to grief, learn more about the grief process, as well as learn healthy ways of coping during loss.
- Eating Disorder Group
- A support group for those who are struggling with Anorexia, Bulimia, or other food related struggle. Not meant as an intensive form of treatment, this group will help participants find hope and courage together.
